Green Heron

Recognition
Appears to be rusty red on the underside and greeny-blue on the head and back.  In shape, they are squat although they measure 18” in length.

Where seen
In the ponds on Lara Circle and the mangrove areas around the marina.

Jimmy’s notes
Appears to be a bit of a Quasimodo. When flushed will often cry out with an eerie call.
