Pine Warbler

Recognition

These birds are olive in colour with white wing bars and whitish bellies. The legs are dark. Adult males have yellow throats and yellow breasts. Females and juvenile birds are a lot paler and their throats and bellies are olive green

Where seen

Sometimes seen foraging on the ground around the pine trees in Lara Circle and sometimes up high amongst the cones.

Jimmy’s notes

These birds are quite difficult to spot unless it is an adult male and they are sometimes seen in a small flock with other warblers.
