Where seen

Prairie Warblers forage actively on tree branches, and sometimes fly around with the purpose of catching insects, which are the main food source of these birds.

Jimmy’s notes

These birds wag their tail feathers frequently. They are similar to Pine Warblers, Palm Warblers and Magnolia Warblers. The pine warbler is bigger with two white wing bars and doesn’t wag its tail all the time.

The Palm Warbler has a brownish cap and a dark stripe through its eye and Magnolia Warblers has very distinct wing bars and a black tipped tail.
