Wood Stork

Recognition
A white or dirty white body.  Its legs and neck are darkish brown. If you look closely enough, you will see that it has yellow feet.

Where seen
Often seen as a single feeding in the ditches along New Post Road, the ponds on Concord Drive and the pond at Fox Moor. Sometimes seen circling with a group of vultures over the river. There is a colony of these birds on Bird Island up towards the railroad bridge and you will often see a group of them perched in the tree tops on the approach to Orange Harbor just by the Manatee statue.
