Mayan Cyclid

Description
These non-native species have spread throughout Florida and are found in fresh and brackish waters. They often appear to have a pinkish tinge, darkish stripes. The body is ovate and the first dorsal and anal fins are spinous. The caudal fin is slightly rounded and there is generally a spot close to the start of the tail.

Size
These tend to run in sizes under a pound in weight and are quite often smaller than this.
